DaVita

Our marketing and communications team partners closely with DaVita clinical leaders and internal subject matter experts to develop marketing content for external physician, hospital, payor, patient and care partner audiences. We aim to make a positive impact in the kidney community through quality content that educates patients and informs audiences on services and programs that DaVita offers.

The marketing writer will write and edit a variety of deliverables/assets for several communications channels targeting the aforementioned B2B and B2C audiences. Projects will include collateral, web content, paid-search and native ads, video scripts, direct mail, email, case studies, PowerPoint presentations and more. The marketing writer will collaborate with other marketing and communications teammates in meeting internal client and stakeholder needs to forward DaVita's growth initiatives.

To succeed in this position, the marketing writer will possess strong copywriting and editing skills, a knowledge of copywriting best practices per communication piece and channel, a working knowledge of AP style, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Familiarity with health care industry segments is a plus.

Must have ability to:

• Communicate complex information clearly, appropriately and accurately
• Smoothly transition between writing long-form, complex content (for B2B audiences) and plain-language content (for B2C audience)
• Content editing, copy editing and proofreading skills
• Quickly build credibility and gain the confidence of individuals at all levels, including executive
• Conduct organized, articulate interviews (for content) with executives and physician leaders
• Write creative and effective copy with strong calls to action, applying marketing principles
• Perform data and fact checks
• Self-initiate and project manage the content development process with limited direction
• Think strategically and offer ideas for process improvements
