Job Description

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Pipeline Manager is primarily responsible for being the main point of contact for the Liberty Home Equity Solutions Wholesale and Correspondent Broker Partners and their loan files. The Pipeline Manager will act as the information and service hub for the Sales and Operations Teams and Broker Partners, developing processes and systems to effectively monitor Broker Partner pipelines, and assisting the Wholesale and Operations Teams with achieving their short and long term goals and objectives.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Relationship management with internal team members as well as Broker Partners
  • Prompt response to incoming calls, e-mails and faxes from Broker Partners and internal team members
  • Proactively train and support Broker Partners
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Partners to resolve all loan-level conflicts
  • Receive and set up all files for all incoming wholesale correspondence
  • Develop and document all processes and systems necessary to achieve departmental goals
  • Perform all necessary duties needed to close loans in the Wholesale Channel
  • Review and analyze reverse mortgage loan applications to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal and external regulatory guidelines
  • Review all required reports and inspections to ensure compliance with investor and FHA guidelines
  • Communicate underwriting decisions to Broker Partners
  • Collaborate with staff and management to find solutions on escalated loans
  • Manage loans by using all functions of CRM and other Liberty reverse mortgage applications, such as tasks, comments and case information
  • Maintain high level of customer service and communication with other departments
  • Maintain timely contact with all Broker Partners by providing status calls on Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Funding
  • Assist in gathering all forms and conditions required to fund the loan
  • Perform Broker Partner follow-up as needed
  • Cross-train in all positions to build knowledge and experience
  • Reviews loans in process daily and determines what is needed to process loans quickly
  • Performs document and processing system audit to ensure information integrity
  • Signs off on Tier 1 underwriting conditions
  • Review loans to ensure loan/property meets FHA and investor quidelines
  • Reviews credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications and preliminary title reports
  • Analyzes loan files and submits completed loans for approval to underwriting
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
  • Associates Degree or corresponding level of experience
  • 2 years loan processing, escrow, or mortgage servicing required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and mortgage systems
  • Ability to build strong relationships internal and external relationships with Broker Partners, Operations, Sales and Management
  • Exceptional organizational skills and operational focus
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of reverse mortgage guidelines
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to prepare routing administrative paperwork, including the development and maintenance of files and records
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
  • Experience in mortgage operations
  • Works well under pressure
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
TRAINING / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
  • Must pass the Company's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.
This position is not eligible to be performed in the state of Colorado.
