How you will make contributions that matter...

• Properly controls the automated process of filling bags and sling totes with product. Documents the exact operating results at definite times of the production process.
• Samples checks and documents product results to meet Quality Dept. Specifications, takes samples of product as needed by lab for testing. Follows all plant GMP and HACCP Guidelines, Policies and Procedures.
• Properly organizes and secures stored material for shipping. Drives forklifts to industry standards while moving materials off or on pallets, platforms skids or other lifting devices. Weighs products and materials for further product information on labels and tags and in Computer inventory system.
• Keeps bagged product stacked in an organized manner.
• Assists dryer operator as needed.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you...

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated work history.
• Consistent attendance is a must.
• Shift flexibility. This is a hands-on role for a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Our receiving operators are assigned to a team in support of dairy operations. This can either be days, swing or night shift and mayalso include working weekends and some holidays. Work days and shifts may change to help cover vacations.
• Successful completion of drug screen andbackground check absences, during plant downtime or related events such as audits.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
• Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.
• The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently throughout the shift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance as needed.
• Will need to be able to climb to the top of a tanker utilizing stairs.
