Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction. Plan, manage, and teach in accordance with established syllabi to a diverse student body. Follow all EPA & OSHA rules that pertain to the program. Participate in college functions as needed. Apply teaching practices and activities in pursuit of continuous improvement of the program and the college. Render professional service as a team player for the good of the college, the division/department, and support the college's mission and vision while performing duties with the highest level of service
Minimum and Additional RequirementsApplicant must have welding certificates in the area of GMAW, SMAW, or GTAW or having a diploma or associate's degree in welding
Applicant should have 5 or more years of experience in the welding industry
Must be proficient in GMAW, SMAW, & GTAW processes on plate, pipe, and structural steel
Must have in-depth knowledge of the welding trade and have the ability to effectively share knowledge with others
Three or more years of welding teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level.
