The Wealth Associate Manager will be empowered to lead our newly created Wealth Associate Support Team. This team is responsible for providing support to our Wealth Advisor and Fiduciary Officer team, including the onboarding and servicing of key relationships.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Establish strategic direction for the overall responsibility of the Wealth Associate Team support experience. Establish department's strategic plan for the creation, maintenance and facilitation of soft skill and technical training for Wealth AST associates, including onboarding and training, policy, procedure, and operational workflows.
  • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and support new and existing programs and initiatives that promote efficiency, leverage technology and/ or reduce costs. Develop and implement standard reporting/ KPI's to monitor the effectiveness of advisor support activities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Wealth Associates who provide day to day support to client facing associates. Leverage strengths and understand and identify gaps in performance. Provide development opportunities for staff to align with their career goals and develop a bench strength for key positions.
  • Strong desire to deliver on implemented KPI's with a focus on continual improvement to enhance the internal and external client experience.
  • Implement and maintain necessary systems infrastructure to support Wealth client facing associates including group email, telephone/ call center, support case tracking and other technologies. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive advantages, and vendor advancements.
  • Create and sustain an environment which supports teamwork and mutual respect while leading, organizing, and managing multiple projects and priorities at once. Manage and partner with key vendors utilized to deliver the product, service, and technology.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience in operations, client facing support or financial advisor roles
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years management experience in the Wealth management industry (people, product, or project)
  • Technically sound with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of servicing Wealth and investment management client needs, operational processes and key systems needed to support the Wealth client. Knowledge and understanding of key performance metrics.
  • A problem solver that can adapt quickly to situations and make well thought out decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with various levels of management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

    Physical Requirements
    • Occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 lbs.
    • Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
    • Frequently sits, stands, walks and drives

    Compliance Statement
    • The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

    • Required learning courses - as determined and assigned through the new associate Onboarding process
    • Onboarding assignments to be completed as indicated or within the first 60 days
