Description

Summary:

The VP of Finance is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of Savoy Medical Center (rural healthcare facility) in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and Governmental Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA Preferred
• Minimum 5 years (in health care preferred) Competencies in financial management, communication, ethical conduct, leadership, performance management, personal effectiveness-credibility, problem solving/analysis, strategic thinking and technical capacity
• Routine use of standard office equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
• Experience with CPSI (Preferred)
