VCA Animal Diagnostic Clinic in Dallas is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing Internal Medicine team full time!

Are you interested in obtaining your Veterinary Technician Specialty? We have the ability to support the most advanced cases with cutting-edge technology and diagnostics utilizing our CT, endoscopy, electro-chemotherapy and the Truebeam linear accelerator to support our Radiation Oncology team. We stand behind full technician skill utilization and are dedicated to provide gold standard medicine and exceptional patient care. Our outstanding medicine is a team effort with collaboration from multiple specialty disciplines including Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, and our 24 hour ICU.

Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician Duties:

· Anesthesia monitoring/recovery

· Full Technician Skill Utilization

· Venipuncture / IVC placement

· Client education/communication

· Monitoring and caring for critical patients

· Participate in CPR

· Calculate drug doses

· Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

· Providing compassionate care for all patients

· Spanish fluency is a plus

Potential Schedule: Full-time Tuesday through Friday

Full-Time 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
