Job Description Summary:
The Data Central Team is looking for a highly talented, self-driven User Interface Engineer to help build the user interfaces for the data movement platform that deal with big data (>90PB) at low latency (i.e. sub-second) for data movement from on-premise to GCS/GCP cloud

Job Description:

Responsibilities :
  • Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
  • Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
  • Identifying web-based user interactions.
  • Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts.
  • Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js workflows.
  • Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
  • Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
  • Writing automation tests and maintaining CI pipeline health status.
  • Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a React.js developer for 2 years
  • In-depth knowledge of OO JavaScript, CSS, HTML
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of scalable development processes, CI/CD
  • Experience in writing automated tests
  • Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
  • Experience working with Design Systems & UI Frameworks

Nice to have Skills:
  • Experience with Apollo and GraphQL
  • D3 & visualization libraries
  • Experience with Cypress
