About the Role

The University Relations Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for generating a pipeline of top talent from our portfolio of universities, community colleges, and virtual channels. This includes virtual and in person recruiting, candidate engagement, academic partnerships, event management, and analytical assessments of talent opportunities. As the Manager of the UR program, you will partner closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure our campus relations strategy supports our strategic direction and has strong business group engagement.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Play a key role in helping build, bring to life, and inspire the long-term vision for early-in-career recruiting efforts globally.
  • Experience building andmaintainingrelationships with university partners (staff, faculty, student leaders) to support engagement and talent acquisition, tools, including Handshake to recruit entry level talent.
  • Organizing and managing events across the Talent Acquisition team and business group hiring champions.
  • Partner with business leaders to deeply understand business strategies and talent needs and translate them into recommendations supported by labor market data, knowledge of talent pool and benchmarks.
  • Preparing the virtual and in person recruiting teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Prepare reports on virtual and campus recruiting programs to support continuous improvement of our channels.
  • Develop and analyze university recruitment metrics to ensure we have an adequate pipeline to support Uber Freights college talent needs.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3 + years of professional experience in University Relations
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Must be willing to travel and attend on campus events
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous recruiting experience in corporate, educational, or non-profit environment
  • Strong content creation, communication and promotion of activities, and engagement strategy
  • Excellent change management and project management capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and action
  • Experience designing innovative solutions, leveraging virtual and in person recruiting tools
  • Must be results-oriented with a high degree of personal initiative, be very hands on, flexible and have a customer centric attitude.
