JOB SUMMARY

As a Production Worker, you play a critical part of the organization securing raw materials in a safe environment.

Current Shifts Available are Monday through Friday:

First shift Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm and Second Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm + Overtime

What you will do:

  • Maintain a work environment that meets facility environmental, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Select products for outbound orders.
  • Receive product (bulk and packaged) for inbound orders
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Operate forklifts for unloading/loading trucks and chemical blending
  • Perform preventative maintenance and participate in general upkeep of production equipment
  • Maintain daily logs and record plant operating data
  • Effectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers
  • Collecting raw materials
  • Packaging chemicals in pails, drums, and tote
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed

What you need to be successful:

  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Be qualified in forklift and crane operation
  • Be open to having flexible work hours including weekends and overtime,
  • Maintain regular attendance requirements
  • Ability to make decisions, set priorities, remain self-motivated and motivate others in the absence of direct oversight.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and trusting, delivers on commitments.
  • Strong sense of urgency

EDUCATION REQUREMENTS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Physical Demands

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
