Summary:
Perform high quality mammography and breast ultrasound procedures at a fast pace with minimal repeat.Set up and assist Radiologist with biopsy procedures and complete all associated paperwork in a timely, accurate and professional manner.Assure ultrasound rooms are fully stocked for all procedures.Present cases to radiologist prior to procedures. Assist in scheduling patients for further procedures.Performs duties with high regard for customer service and patient safety.Helps maintain and document quality control tests and reports, if applicable.Responsible for cleaning equipment and ensuring machines are in good working condition, and reporting any issues with equipment and/or facility.
Requirements:
- ARRT (M), (BS); ARMDS in breast sonography preferred
- TX MRT License
- BLS--American Red Cross
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in AppliedScience in Rad. Tech.
- Experience: 2 yr RRT(M), 1 yr sonography
- Breast imaging, BiopsyProcedures in both mammography and ultrasound modalities
- Working knowledge of computers, fax machine, multi-line telephone, PACS,Mammography & Ultrasound equipment
- Able to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent customer service and patient skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patients.
- Must build long-term relationships andencourage repeat patient visits
