Location: Charlotte, NC
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Transportation Analyst for a 6 month contract.

FULLY REMOTE as of now - possibly can go back on site in Q2 FY2022.
Maternity leave for an employee - want some to come in and train and work alongside current employee; Jan starts potential leave, possible if delivery is late there could be slight extension.

HOURS 8 to 4; flexible for a little earlier or later depending on pref of candidate

Will be working on a team of 6 others; candidate preferred to have a bachelor's degree but will consider work experience without a degree. The right candidate will have very strong attention to detail, a strong CS background, must be very organized. This role requires strong follow up so must be proactive. STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS a must. Excel skills - working with large amounts of data a MUST, v lookups and Pivot Tables. Good problem solving skills, must be able to work without immediate supervision.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for managing and contacting bulk customers to validate the accuracy of the order on file at the TMS level prior to carrier tender

• S/T location, contact information, bulk product and quantity to be delivered

• Meter or scale unload etc. just to name a few of the order validation steps Accountabilities

• Document all customer contacts according t the call script guidelines

• Manage and perform all data updates in TMS

- followed with email updates to customer service

• Work independently with or without direct super

vision • Maintain order integrity by verifying all order information

• Must be comfortable and courteous on the telephone

• Work closely with the bulk control tower team
