Under the direction of the Assistant General Manager, the Office Manager is responsible for leading the office staff to achieve customer service goals and ensure Copart processes are implemented and followed for the Title Express functional unit they oversee. Through a thorough understanding of Copart practices, the Office Manager will lead their team to facilitate a unique Copart experience for customers by implementing and maintaining Copart best practices that meet company policy, quality, and service expectations. Title Express is responsible for assisting auto insurance companies with the procurement of vehicle titles, title paperwork, and working with financial institutions and vehicle owners.

Essential Duties

  • Hire, train, develop and motivate staff members
  • Manage day-to-day operations of specified areas within the Title Express process
  • Ensure all employees under their direct report meet company standards
  • Ensure performance is within Title Express company standards
  • Provide direction to Team Lead(s) regarding metric-driven goals
  • Employee scheduling, time, and attendance management
  • Ability to complete all job tasks for positions supervised
  • Conduct performance reviews and any required crucial conversations according to company standards
  • Plan and lead meetings with the Team Lead(s) to ensure daily compliance
  • Handle employee/customer service issues
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing USPS and Fed Ex mail
  • Thorough understanding of US postal regulations
  • Coordinate all daily outgoing mail pickups within USPS and Fed Ex
  • Troubleshooting Pitney Bowes Relay Inserter and high-capacity printers
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of mailing and shipping supplies, and order new supplies as needed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations when handling mail and packages
  • Order and track Power of Attorneys documents for states that require physical documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience
  • High School Degree (GED), some college preferred
  • Three (3) years office management or equivalent experience
  • Computer Proficiency (MS Office Suite)
  • Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to hire, train and develop employees
  • Ability to delegate/prioritize workflow
  • Basic 10 Key proficiency
  • Complete familiarity within a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC interaction with automated equipment
  • Ability to maintain, repair and install mailing equipment such as inserters, sorters, or comparable equipment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Managing multiple processes for employees
  • Conflict management skills
  • Valid Driver's license
