Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a creative and innovative scientist to contribute to drug discovery in an exciting, and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work in a team setting and be responsible for, culture and scale up and differentiation of recombinant and primary human/stem cells.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field and experience in a research laboratory.
• Experience with the techniques and approaches utilized to culture primary human /stem cells is required.
• The successful candidate must be detail orientated and able to work independently.
  
  Preferred Qualifications
• Basic understanding of drug discovery process.
• Ability to work with state of the art instrumentation and liquid handing equipment.
• Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed work environment.
