Beacon Hill Legal's client, an international law firm, is a seeking a Legal Recruiter to oversees the Summer Associate recruiting programs, primarily for their New York office. This is a temporary position to support their recruitment team for a short term assignment. The person must be in the NYC area and be open to being in the office at least once a week throughout the next three months.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate entry-level recruiting program, including OCI, and support other recruiting initiatives as needed
• Provide/review annual NALP statistics
• Plan, organize and scout locations for recruiting events, select event locations and negotiate contract.
• Garner lawyer support and create enthusiasm for recruitment program.
• Introduce innovative and high-quality initiatives for each recruiting season
• Partnering with D&I, PD and other departments within the firm.
• Work with business service professionals in other offices to promote firm-wide recruiting
• Oversee the general budgeting function for NY summer program and OCI efforts.
• Assist with federal clerk events as needed.
• Maintain accurate and orderly candidate and school files
• Complete post recruiting feedback forms for law schools.
• Maintain statistical information on end-to-end recruiting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 3 years related experience in a law firm.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to function in a collaborative environment and be an effective member of a fast pace and energetic recruiting team.
• Systems required: LawCruit; Advanced Proficiency of Word and Excel required; Proficiency in PowerPoint.
