RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Technician IV in support of our industry leading technology development client in Roseville, CA. Our client is seeking candidates who are driven to make positive changes to the way people live and work by creating breakthrough technology solutions. Overview:

• Operates environmental test apparatus to produce, regulate and record effects of actual or simulated conditions (i.e., Vibration, Stress, Temperature, Humidity, Pressure, Altitude, Acceleration and Electromagnetic Emission/Immunity)
• Depending on level, may also provide technical process engineering/consultation to customers
• Also performs Product Safety tests to demonstrate products' ability to conform to applicable worldwide Product Safety standards
• Works with customers in planning and implementing tests by serving as a process/technical consultant
• Assists in determining cause of EMC-related Product Safety and environmental failures by analyzing results, documenting processes and providing conclusion with proposed course of action to customer
• Utilizes corporate standards, department supplemental test procedures and customer test plans to test and evaluate product performance to ensure conformance under environmental requirements of corporate or national and/or international specifications
• Collects all necessary data during test (i.e., failure modes observed, test setup photographs, block diagrams, model/serial numbers, etc.) to ensure test repeatability/reproducibility; See "RHTC Test Personnel Certification Matrix" for areas in which each technician is certified

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed.
