What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors

The Assistant Project Manager is the project managers' right hand and has the ability to clearly communicate with construction team along with supporting the efforts within our internal teams. Perform constructability reviews of Construction Documents prior to their issuance for bidding, estimating, quantity takeoffs, etc. Prepare and maintain a schedule for the sequence of all design and construction activities required to complete the project. Perform construction operations and maintain communications with contractors. Provide constructability feedback and "Lessons Learned" to project team. Assist the project manager and develop tools to provide efficient design and construction administration.

Your Responsibilities

  • Attend project meetings and assist with coordinating necessary design and construction administration
  • Assist project manager with opinions of cost.
  • Assist project manager with design and construction administration duties.
  • Process shop drawings, RFIs, bulletins, agendas, and meeting notes.
  • Perform site inspections and prepare field observation reports during construction.
  • Assist in project filing, organization, and documentation related to different phases of the project.
  • Working to complete projects under established deadlines and budgets.
  • The ability to take initiative to get projects completed.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Must be a strong communicator with proven ability to demonstrate grammatical efficiency with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook calendaring.
  • Must be well organized, flexible, self-sufficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently with little supervision
