Based in beautiful Rockaway NJ we are a visible, collaborative, and proactive visual intelligence company that specializes in monitoring critical operations and incidents. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of hiring for a Technical Support Engineer that possesses strong experience with troubleshooting, installing, customer support, and Network+/Security+.

What You Will Be Doing - Install/Upgrade software suite to the integrated solution
- Set up the software suite for the company, including but not limited to all software settings, database setup, rights and permissions for groups, sources (video, web, application, etc.), scripting for custom configurations, etc.
- Provide integration services, including but not limited to explaining firewalls and NAT, changing system IPs, and complex system setups.
-Troubleshooting the integrated solution, address hardware and setup issues and find software/OS problems.
- Resolving network, software/OS, and system configuration issues
- Documenting all client complaints for use by support personnel and management Troubleshooting display equipment as necessary, including deciphering any error codes, figuring out cable vs. display difficulties, etc. as necessary, providing client base training on the integrated solution
What You Need for this Position - At least 5 years of IT experience required
- At least 2 years experience in a customer support/service environment required
- * CTS certification, Network+ and/or Security+ or comparable required *
- Experience with TCP/IP network security, routing, and physical network topologies for at least a year, including installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining
- Familiar with cloud solutions such as Salesforce/ServiceMax or other comparable CRM systems
- Experience with integration and stability tests at the component and interface levels
- Strong experience troubleshooting server and client systems from HP, Dell, and other manufacturers' hardware and software
- Administering Windows systems, ideally in a cable, telecommunications, or audio/visual environment
- Installing and troubleshooting Windows operating system, network, and software components
- Proven communication abilities with regard to using technological items and dealing with business concerns

Specific Skills/Certs:
- Training experience preferred
- Travel up to 10% of the time
- Other tasks assigned by Management from time to time
- MS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019
- MS Windows 7/10
- MS Office suite
