RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a publicly traded Consumer products company in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager. The Technical Accounting Manager will report directly to the Corporate Controller and will play a significant operational and strategic role in financial risk management. This role will be 3 days in office & 2 days work from home.Core responsibilities of the Technical Account Manager include accounting and reporting for debt and related derivatives, interest, and hedge accounting compliance. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and the analysis of interest income/expense, foreign exchange, and hedging gains/losses. This position also offers substantial exposure to all facets of accounting and provides an opportunity to enhance US GAAP financial reporting and analysis skills, strengthen verbal and written communication skills, and expand business partnering (both internal and external) and leadership skills in a global environment. This individual will be a key liaison to the global finance organization and business process owners. This role entails significant global cross-functional interaction with Treasury Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis, Consolidation and Corporate Accounting, External Reporting, and Finance.Additional duties of the Technical Account Manager include:

• Provide accounting guidance and prepare accounting position papers
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert in derivatives, foreign exchange, and debt accounting
• Oversee US GAAP ASC 815 accounting for derivatives and hedging activities
• Review hedge effectiveness testing
• Prepare debt and derivatives instruments and hedging activities notes for 10-Q and 10-K disclosures
• Ensure accounting policies for foreign exchange, derivative instruments, OCI are maintained and up to date
• Develop and host periodic training sessions for the broader accounting and finance organization on relevant topics

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• CPA required
• 7+ years of experience with Big 4 audit for publicly traded companies
• Must have strong technical accounting skills
• SAP and/or Reval knowledge (preferred, but not required)
• Effective communication skills are essential, and the Manager must be able to present results, ideas, and concepts clearly to multiple departments and levels within the wider organization
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage workloads and exercise a high degree of adaptability
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• "Can-Do" attitude and ability to communicate and partner with associates at all levels of the organization
