Responsibilities

That's why we need you, an experienced DevOps engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes conduct System Level testing and regression testing. As a DevOps engineer on our team, you'll use your software development expertise to streamline the software development life cycle to get incremental deliveries to our end users. You will be a part of the Government Acquisition Office, acquiring a ground system for current and future national assets, as a SETA who will apply their Dev/Ops experience to automate system level testing (similar to CI/CD). You will get to work in a cloud environment to develop front end automation and extend to full stack web developer. You would be using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins and capture automated test results in TestRail. As an Automation Tester, you will work with other testers who are developing system level test cases to provide recommendations where you can automate those tests.

Qualifications

Requires 0 to 2 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years no degree.

Required skills:

• To be who you are, an energetic, forward leaning, self-starter visionary!
• Hold an active TS/SCI with Poly
• Experience with software system design, development, integration, and testing
• Experience with managing a continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline or other Automated Test infrastructure
• Experience with Web API development and use
• Experience with Java, Wildfly, or JBoss
• Experience with Front End Automation tools
• Experience with Business Process Automation tools
• Experience with Cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced Cloud certification
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
• Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
• Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain
• Experience with experience with EC2, S3, EMR, and/or Lambda
• Security + or CISSP certification

Salary Minimum: $48,276.80 Salary Maximum:$103,209.60 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees.
