Work Location: El Paso, TX or Dallas, TX

What you'll be doing:

The Systems Analyst, Finance will provide support to the Senior Financial Systems Manager in the maintenance and development of EPM Solution databases to include, but not limited to, applications including Consolidation, Planning, financial reports, and other related tools.

This position will contribute to achieving the organization's short- and long-term goals by providing operational improvement, project management, and problem-solving skills to the Finance systems team and creating a more efficient and effective environment.

  • Assist in the administration of the various financial systems as needed by System Administrators.
  • Serve as the SME for all operational improvement requests for the Finance Team.
  • Assist in the implementation of programs, projects, or solutions for the Finance Team.
  • Become a liaison between the Finance and IT departments by encouraging and maintaining excellent working relationships.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of EPM databases, applications, and tools to support financial and operational reporting needs.
  • Provide daily data and process validation to confirm system outputs are accurate and ensure data integrity.
  • To comply with SOX requirements, document changes to applications, databases, security, etc. - i.e. work within company change management policy.
  • Set up new users with appropriate access to applications - user security management.
  • Maintain and develop calc scripts and rules files.
  • Build and manage EPM reports that address current Company/user needs.
  • Provide support to the user community through troubleshooting, report development, and training.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with management and coworkers.
  • Strong analytical abilities, passionate about data research, compilation, and interpretation
  • Strong social skills, with the ability to perform concurrent multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, and proven customer service focus
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Adaptable and flexible to change, new insights, and innovative approaches.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years or more working in a finance-related function.
  • Experience implementing or administering EPM Solutions.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Proven experience with MS Excel
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Information Systems
  • Experience with EPM Solutions (Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, ARM or Onestream)
  • Experience with Oracle ERP
