h3>Knowledge, Skills: care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established and procedures. Use professional nursing judgment to individualize the delivery of nursing care and act as a team leader or charge nurse for unlicensed care providers. Assist other nursing personnel in the DP of patients or an entire unit as assigned. Monitor and initiate corrective action to maintain the environment of care including equipment and maty to use computer and learn new software programs. Able to document resources. Participate in own professional development by maintaining clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities for practical nurses and NCA. Knowledge of and appropriate application of the nursing process. Knowledge of professional theory, practice, and procedure. Abient in BLS and/or other specialized life support requirements, designated policies, and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies, and in performance improvement activities. Perform other related duties. Ability to independently seek out resources and work for collaborating with each patient and family in accordance with the nursing plan of care. Ability to assess nursing needs of acute and chronically ill patients and there to use sensory and cognitive functions to process and prioritize information, treatment, and follow-up. Ability to use fine motor skills. Complete care, interventions, evaluation, and re-evaluation of patient status.Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking.Ability to communicate pertinent information using a computer and/or paper documentation tools. Ability to navigate the entity to provide clinical care for patients.
Work Performed

Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care. Utilizing the nursing process relatively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with care teams, physicians, administrators, leaders, and others.

Knowledge of the scope of the registered nurse, licensed plan of care based on an assessment of the patient's baseline needs and response to care. Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of others or educational offerings. Act as a preceptor and support the focused and organized.Working knowledge of procedures and techniques involving required competencies, identifying learning needs, and seeking appropriate. Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, health in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by North Carolina. Administering routine and special treatments to patients.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or the successful completion of the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification exam.

Experience

Level I- Entry level position for new graduates of Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologists with 0 to 18 months experience. Level II- Requires 6 to 12 months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology or relevant military experience.
