DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute supply plans to meet customer demand while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Analyze sales forecasts, historical data, and market trends to generate accurate supply forecasts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or surpluses, and take proactive measures to optimize inventory holdings.
  • Utilize BI tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Alteryx, to extract relevant data, perform data analysis, and generate actionable insights to support supply chain decision-making.
  • Maintain and update relevant databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for planning purposes.
  • Collaborate with procurement to manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply planning, such as fill rate, and inventory turnover, and develop improvement plans as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain planning, and implement innovative approaches to drive continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Prior experience in SIOP, scenario modeling, ability to build data models with large data sets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Alteryx to analyze and visualize data.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software and systems (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or equivalent relevant experience
