Description:
Shift: Mon-Fri 6A-2:30P

Assumes operational responsibilities for ordering and maintaining inventory levels daily and materials management. Responsible for maintaining labels and new products to be distributed throughout all nursing floors and non-par locations. Responsible for ensuring efficiency in supplies distribution and problem resolution within Workday operating system.

Ability to work back-orders and effectively problem-solve any supply issue that may arise.

Knowledge of implementing a cycle counting system to effectively manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and stock on hand of all supplies.

Work slow moving items and returns to minimize storeroom inventory.

Check monthly expires and maintain the integrity of all disaster carts.

Managing for Daily Improvements (MDI) in areas of responsibility to monitor and drive improvements of departmental operation.

Communicates to LUMC staff stock availability, recall alerts and other information as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Minimum Education:

  • Required: Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
  • Specify Degree(s): Business, Logistics
  • Residency: N/A
Minimum Experience:
  • Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
  • Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
