Description:
PATIENT CARE: 1) Meets the comfort and hygiene needs of the patients
by providing care services such as bathing, oral hygiene procedures, hair
care, bedpan/urinal use, skin care and garment, linen and bedding
changes. 2) Assists with patient mobility as directed by the RN. Utilizes
appropriate safety measures for patient and self (body mechanics,
infection prevention, falls prevention). 3) Assists with patient monitoring,
completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, changes simple
dressings and performs CPR as delegated by the RN.4) Responds timely
and appropriately to patients, visitors, physicians, and other health team
members using appropriate telephone and verbal communication skills.
Maintains strict confidentiality of patient, employee and department
information to ensure patient rights. 5) Transports patients, specimens
and medical records. Retrieves equipment and supplies as needed, and
helps set up as appropriate. 6) Performs required electronic and paper
documentation.

supplies on a regular basis. 2) Orders necessary supplies. 3) Stocks items
ordered. 4) Maintains records of orders placed and communicates with
manager any discrepancies/concern

Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Specify Degree(s): Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program
