Job Description:

This position is responsible for coordinating and or preparing plant-specific training literature manuals systems and class instruction on the fundamentals of mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic refrigeration and boiler maintenance and other job related subjects; creating and maintaining training aid equipment and materials student records and control of the scheduling of classes; performing maintenance orientation training of new maintenance team members; interfacing with appropriate vendors concerning training content and delivery. Other duties include coordinating safety training of the maintenance department; performing other tasks as deemed appropriate by the maintenance manager and interfacing with the corporate maintenance team to provide input in the creation revision and delivery of the Tyson standard maintenance training program.

Responsibilities:

• Education: Bachelor s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Experience: 3 plus years related experience. Experience in both refrigeration maintenance and industrial maintenance preferred.
  
• Computer Skills: Competent in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and the ability to learn Tyson SAP-Plant Maintenance system.
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
  
• Special Skills: Strong management skills; sound judgment leadership organizational skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  
• Certifications: Certifications in any training topics or techniques is a plus.
  
• supervisory: NA
  
• Travel: Limited Travel for this role may be required.
  
• Responsible to: Maintenance Manager
  
• Schedule/Shift: Although this role is Primarily 1st Shift, Flexibility is needed as this role may provide coverage to other Maintenance Supervisors on 1st/2nd/3rd Shifts; occasional weekend work may be required.
