The Daytime Student Services Team supports day-to-day operations and student experience for the Daytime MBA Program, which serves 800+ students and approximately 100 exchange students each year.
The Student Services Project Specialist is dedicated to improving Daytime MBA students' experiences by supporting programs and projects and effective office operations. This role supports all groups within the Student Services Team, including the Office of Student Life (OSL), International Programs Office (IPO), and Fuqua Registrars. This position will work primarily with the OSL, reporting to the Associate Director of Student Life (or Director of Student Life), and will support IPO and Registrar projects as needed.
This role will work in both support and leadership capacities on a broad range of projects, programs and events. Some representative projects and responsibilities are listed below, though specific work assignments will be made according to needs of the team and managed by the Project Specialist and their manager.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities
Program and Event Support

* Event planning and execution
o Support teams in execution of student events which may include orientation, graduation, wellness events, and others as needed
o Lead planning and execution of events as assigned which may include pet therapy, informational fairs, informational sessions, student giveaways, and others as able
* Support of student programs, which may include
o Fuqua on Board
o CLEAD experiences
o Student activities calendar
o Others as needed
* Program and event support may include setting up catering, organizing room reservations and setups, creating promotional materials for events, recruiting volunteers, and other support as needed

Communications and Website Support
* Primary responsibility for replying to and triaging inquiries sent to general department email lists
* Updates to Student Services websites, including ISW, Fuqua411, graduation and Registrar pages
* FuquaConnect support
o Updates and content creation for Student Services portals
o Updates to user profile permissions
* Provide content to and manage digital newsletters where appropriate
* Update and create digital and print collateral for student programs and events as needed

Administrative Support
* Maintain and create digital forms
* Data entry and management
o Update student records and enrollments
o Update program tracking spreadsheets
* Provide backup support for Office Coordinator as needed
o Triage student traffic to OSL, IPO, Registrars
o Answer general phone line
o Manage mail, supplies and storage closet organization
o Filing and document handling for student exams, work authorizations, and transcripts
* Support implementation of student academic accommodations (exam proctoring, document remediation) as needed
* Prepare/communicate results of special research projects.

Qualifications and Skills
Qualified applicants will have:

* Exceptional interpersonal skills and highly developed written and oral communication skills
* Ability to effectively interact with a range of student, faculty, executive and external stakeholders
* Absolute proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, comfort with working with databases, spreadsheets, digital filing and record-keeping, and website content management platforms
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize work projects according to importance and priority in a dynamic environment with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
* Resourcefulness and proactive approach to identifying and/or completing tasks and projects
* Ability to work in an independent manner but also part of a team, with understanding of when to seek assistance or guidance from team members with needed
* Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Prefer undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience. Work requires a broad knowledge of clerical and accounting principles and practices normally acquired through two years of post-secondary education in secretarial science or a related business field.

Experience
Work generally requires three years of related secretarial/clerical experience to acquire skills necessary to administer complex office functions related to office management, communications, and budgetary/accounting activities. OR and equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
