IUPUI ATHLETIC ADVISING (IN-ATHA-IUINA)
Job Summary
Responsible for communicating with faculty regarding missed classes for all student- athletes due to team travel, coordinating student-athlete mentoring with the Bepko Learning Center, and co-coordinating Student-Athlete Orientation. The position oversees 5th year-student-athletes, interns and volunteers working with the Athletics Advising Office. The position also continues to administer the student-athlete study table program and has full responsibility for establishing policies for this program and ensuring compliance by student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and four years of experience in an office environment, higher education, or a related field.
Knowledge of academic advising techniques. Experience in a higher education environment. Ability to use Word, Excel, Publisher and InfoPath. Familiarity with a student information system.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of NCAA eligibility rules. One year of experience in academic advising and/or student support services.
Working Conditions / Demands
Ability to work Sunday-Thursday, 12:00-9:00 p.m.

Salary up to $32,489.60 annually.
