Your Role

Accountable for operational execution of requisition management - from requisition opening to offer management including management of all third-party vendors (Supply chain) and external hiring community as well as Hays Direct Sourcing teams. Working with Account relationship colleagues to understand demand forecasts and translating these to Direct Sourcing and supply chain partners to allow them to build talent pools of quality, curated candidates to ensure an effective delivery pipeline exists for all current and future opportunities within your defined business areas.

Build lasting relationships:
  • Accountable for the fulfilment of all requisitions in defined business area(s)
  • Responsible for building and maintaining lasting professional relationships with Hiring Manager communities within defined business area(s)
  • Responsible for operational and relationship management of suppliers within defined area
  • Responsible for facilitating supplier and Direct Sourcing team briefings where appropriate
  • Liaise with Line managers to obtain feedback at all stages in the recruitment lifecycle
  • Accountable for managing the supplier and Direct Sourcing colleagues through the recruitment cycle.
  • Actively track and report on supplier performance management against defined metrics
  • Actively support Account relationship colleagues in service adherence across your defined business area(s) through positive development of user experience

Deliver an efficient and compliant process:
  • Accountable for delivering of contractual SLA's
  • Ensure that Direct Sourcing colleagues and suppliers comply with the selection tools as per client requirements
  • Ensure that Direct Sourcing colleagues and suppliers work in compliance with client contractual requirements and work in conjunction with an agreed process
  • Issue management and resolution with key stakeholders
  • Identifying business development opportunities
  • Accountable for working with the client to ensure full understanding of the role, consulting on appropriate approach and educating the client where appropriate on the recruitment lifecycle and technology
  • Responsible for ensuring that the client utilises that technology and inputs the vacancy with the job description
    • Release vacancies to the appropriate channel - Direct Sourcing colleagues and / or key suppliers by skill set and location
    • Receipt of shortlists of candidates produced for line manager
    • Ensuring that suppliers have the appropriate information in order to fulfil vacancies
    • Preselect candidates from suppliers and provide a shortlist to the Client
    • On receipt of offer, facilitate offer process with supplier and ensure all appropriate information is supplied.

Optimise Systems and Business Intelligence:
  • Accountable for full maintenance, utilisation and quality of VMS system
  • Ensure utilisation of client systems admin where appropriate- authorisation/I/v scheduling/PO raising/Headcount reporting
  • Ensuring vendor and hiring manager compliance in relation to VMS usage
  • Responsible for using VMS to report and monitor contractual SLA output
  • Management of requisition authorisation process

Knowledge & Skills

Whilst ability, motivation and attitude are most important, it would be a distinct advantage to have:
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management, KPI's &SLA's ;Proven experience of building and maintaining relationships: internal and external
  • Communicates effectively within the organisation: Tone of voice (phone, email etc.)
  • Working in teams, attention to detail. Basics of time management. Demonstrates a positive, motivated attitude.
  • Introduction into Hays systems, know of Excel, knowledge of the basics of applicable systems (VMS, ATS, 3SS, Teams etc.) Ensure data accuracy in all tools and basic reporting.
  • Effective desk management.
