The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing care for patients in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool. Covering critical care areas; including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit
  • Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.


Qualifications
To qualify you must have:

  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Expereince:
    • Minimum 2 years acute nursing experience required. ICU experience preferred
    • Experience in a surgical environment preferred.
  • Interest in being cross-trained over time to cover several different critical care areas; including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit desirable
  • Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in speciality area is encouraged
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
