Job Responsibilities

Pennoni is looking for a Staff Bridge Engineer who can:

• Ability to work independently within a group setting
  
• Mentor junior staff
  
• Develop highway profiles, cross sections and typical sections
  
• Perform pavement design calculations
  
• Desire to learn new skills related to roadway design and traffic engineering.
  

 
Required Attributes:

• Experience: 4 - 7 Years
  
• Education: B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering
  
• Computer skills required: Microstation, Inroads/OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office
  
• Efficient use of engineering software
  
• Ability to learn and apply new skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Looks for and seizes opportunities to improve work products  
  
• Proficient in developing highway profiles, cross sections and typical sections
  
• Familiar with Traffic Signing and Striping Plans, Traffic Control Plans, Drainage Plans and Grading Plans
  
• Experience with NJDOT highway projects, plan presentation and NJDOT Capital Delivery Process
  

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with NJ County highway projects
  
  
• Experience with AutoCAD
  
  
• Experience with stormwater management and hydraulics
