Beacon Hill Financial has teamed up with a large national nonprofit here in the D.C. area looking to hire a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller while focusing on accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations. The job description can be found below. Job description:

• Prepares monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepares bi-weekly / monthly payments
• Checking and verifying cash receipt batches
• Reconciles activity between Accounting and Development areas
• Enters fixed asset purchases on a monthly basis.
• Processes and verifies bi-weekly payroll, and maintains payroll records, include tax reports and deduction payments.
• Assists with reconciling and recording credit card transactions for monthly close.
