Job Description: The delivery team is looking for a highly energetic and experienced Senior Project Manager with significant software and hardware implementation experience.
PM Responsibilities:
* Manage overall execution of the project and deliver the project on time within budget and scope
* Create detailed budget, forecast and actuals worksheets with monthly reconciliation activities and variance explanations
* Manage project financials in Oracle Unifier, SharePoint, SAP and other applications
* Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
* Manage project resource availability and allocation
* Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
* Coordinate internal, external and vendor resources with tasks and activities for execution throughout the project lifecycle
* Develop project high-level scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
* Develop detailed project plans to track progress
* Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
* Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
* Perform issue/risk management to minimize project impacts to scope, schedule and costs
* Report and escalate to management as needed
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Manage the basics - status reporting, meeting minutes, action items, open issues/risks with mitigation plans and key decisions
Skillset Requirements:
* Post-secondary educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
* Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
* Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technology implementations
* Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in infrastructure and hardware implementations
* Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
* Strong financial acumen including managing project budgets, forecasts and actuals
* Strong facilitation and execution skills, should be able to report up to leadership and work with resources within the project
* Strong critical-thinking skills with demonstrated ability to problem-solve and be proactive
* Should be able to work with uncertainty, ambiguity and lack of clarity
* Should have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
* PMP certification is a plus
* SCRUM certification is a plus
