Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is actively seeking a Senior Manager, Management Information Systems with an Active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Clearance for an upcoming Intelligence Community bid opportunities in the Northern Virginia area. This position is responsible for the management and execution and supervision for an account-based CMMS, logistics and accounting system. The role provides technical advice and administration for program management and system architecture. It additionally supports the development and use of automated work management systems, to include hardware and software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with Government representatives, develop the master plan for increased use of automated work scheduling and management systems to ensure that all work is planned, executed, scheduled, controlled, costs are posted and tracked in the most cost-effective manner in coordination with management staffs.
  • Plan, schedule, train, and supervise employees in the management information system practices, client policies, EMCOR procedures and techniques. And serve as resident adviser and trainer on use of MAXIMO, Costpoint, and other similar business software.
  • Direct the activities of the MIS team, working with client staff to schedule and manage hardware and software maintenance and technical support and direct training programs, and coordinate with the client Security Office to ensure system security.
  • Serve as central point of contact for software system support for MAXIMO and Deltek computer system software.
  • Recommend data processing hardware, software, LAN configuration and operation. Oversees the trouble shooting, correction of data processing equipment and software problems.
  • Consult with the client and the EMCOR Program Manager to determine MIS training needs / requirements and recommends appropriate training.
  • Maintain current knowledge of data processing and related field and developments.
  • Assist in the coordination of all asset management functions to include property planning and analysis; government furnished equipment (GFE); business assessment and planning; financial and operations oversight.
  • Review project requirements and determine internal, external and subcontractors resource availability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Software Development. Directly related work experience may be substituted for required education based on equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
  • Eight (8) years paid professional work in data processing, management information systems, or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in a data processing environment. Minimum of three (3) years' experience with a CMMS system such as MAXIMO and ERP software solution system such as Costpoint.
  • Must have strong briefing and writing skills and be comfortable delivering finished work to wide audiences that often include high ranking customers and senior leadership.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and desire to develop the customer and external contractor relationship.
  • Must have a proven track record of working collaboratively and effectively in a highly dynamic team environment. Outstanding team working skills are required.
  • TS/SCI with Full Polygraph clearance is required.
