We are looking to add an experienced Sr. Kubernetes Architect who is experienced building an ON PREM toolchain factories from scratch using RKE - Rancher Kubernetes Engine. We are building a CNCF Certified Kubernetes distribution that runs entirely within Docker containers. Our ideal candidate will have previous work experience with DoD projects and hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing You will be a critical member of our development team contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for the development of innovative software applications for one of our core DoD customers. You will be building a toolchain factories and kube clusters from scratch using Rancher Kubernetes while helping our customer containerize their applications within Docker. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for projects and employing the DevSecOps model within an Agile Project Management framework. You will also work within cross-functional teams and support the materialization of current AWS hosted applications, while ensuring the feasibility of future changes.
What You Need for this Position Must have at least 5+ years of experience with:
- Architecting ON-PREM Toolchain Factories from scratch using RKE - Rancher Kubernetes Engine
- DevSecOps best practices
- RKE - Rancher Kubernetes Engine (building and containerizing)
- Terraform
- Docker Containers
- Gitlab CI
- CI/CD Pipeline Automation
- Agile Project Management (Jira)
- AWS Tool Suites (CloudWatch / CloudFormation)/ Azure / GovCloud
- CI/CD Tools (Jenkins / BitBucket / Git / Ansible / Artifactory / Maven / SonarQube)
- Cloud Computing Models (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS)
- Scripting (Bash / PowerShell)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Single Signed Integrations

Extra Points if you have experience with:
- Cloud Security Platforms (PrismaCloud)
- Cybersecurity (Fortify Scans / STIG Checks / POAMs)

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is required.

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is preferred but not required. Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for this position.
