SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER- REMOTE
One of The Select Groups' TOP healthcare clients is looking for a senior level Information Security Engineer to join their team. This is a 100% REMOTE opportunity but the ideal candidate must be in the state of Ohio. The client is rolling out a Microsoft O365 platform and is looking for someone to be hands on in coordinating with security engineers, analysts, business partners and other architects to make sure that this product is being stood up correctly.
SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:
- Palo Alto firewall experience
- Any certifications (ACE or PCNSE) recommended
- Security Architecture or Senior level Security Engineering experience in an enterprise level environment
- O365 security experience
- HIPAA knowledge
- PCI Compliance knowledge
The Security Engineer is responsible for the establishment of and assessment against Information Security engineering and architecture policies, standards and guidelines to ensure that systems are designed and built in a manner that minimizes security risk while ensuring business needs are met. The Security Engineer must be familiar with the current threat environment, how these threats can exploit known vulnerabilities and be able to provide mitigation strategies in the design and development of systems to ensure security risk. We are looking for someone with great personality and experience leading meetings.
