Job Description Summary

The Senior HRIS Analyst will support Lamb Weston's Workday environment with functional expertise in the Compensation and Advanced compensation modules. Partnering with HR Service Center and the HR COE's to creatively develop, design and streamline processes. Assures deliverables meet or exceed organizational objectives and aligns with HR strategies.

Job Description

  • Act as the technical expert for the HR COE(s) and HR Service Center and assist with project tasks such as requirements gathering, design validation, user acceptance testing support, technical system testing, etc.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end processes related to compensation and pay review processes to include identifying process gaps and provide guidance on process improvements.
  • Responsible for Workday configuration to support global/local enhancements or change requests that are scalable for future growth.
  • Ability to understand the impacts of any changes to Workday processes on other technologies and on downstream systems ensuring the appropriate parties are advised.
  • Partner with the HR Service Center team to build reports and dashboards to drive self-service.
  • Manage reporting accuracy by reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling relevant data according to established timelines, standards, and procedures.
  • Serve as a technical expertise for cross-functional projects and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities within established constraints.
  • Perform thorough review of business requirements as provided by HR Service Center to determine feasibility of the request, provide additional functional solutions and work with the HR Service Center to deliver the requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities by rethinking existing configurations and working with the HR Service Center for business engagement.
  • Serve as a Tier III system support for technical issues related to the use or functionality of Workday; act as the escalation point for Workday process or configuration issues raised by end users.
  • Proactively share knowledge with Tier II and Tier I support teams: must be able to develop user procedures, guidelines, documentation, end-user training resources and communications for Workday modules. Additionally, mentor team members on the HRIS team through sharing skill sets and knowledge.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to Workday functionality and the configuration requirements to support all enhancements, incidents, and project configuration work.
  • Be accountable for the integrity of the Workday system, ensuring it remains compliant and meets business requirements for efficiency and change control.
  • Responsible for engaging with HR COE for Compensation. Be available to consult with HR Service Center and business partners as the system expert to find solutions to current problems
  • Proactively seek out Workday's new feature releases and the impact changes may have on the functional area/s. Have the knowledge and understanding to provide recommendations for new functionality and ensure the Workday releases go live successfully.
  • Be accountable for running and managing test scenarios to test both Workday and business delivered enhancements and upgrade.
  • Proactively stay up to date on trends and developments within HR systems and technology, proactively providing ideas and information regarding best practices and trends. Work to enhance the capability of self and team
  • Conduct integrations review with various vendors as needed.
  • Research and address data integrity issues and/or errors (i.e., back-end data, position, and organization management processes). Ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained and transactions are accurate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training/experience in Management Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field required.

Experience and abilities:
  • Minimum of five years' experience in Workday with broad knowledge of the Compensation and Advance Compensation modules.
  • Functional knowledge of the various human resource workstreams (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, HR data, Talent, etc.), and how they integrate with one another
  • Experience delivering and improving Workday to maximize efficiency & deliver quality services.
  • Experience working, monitoring, and interacting with third-party vendors.
  • Ensures adherence to project schedules and can work effectively with peers to set project and service request priorities
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills required. Attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to compliance-related matters.
  • Ability to influence others, identify problems, and recommend a course of action.
  • Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully work with internal stakeholders and colleagues to contribute ideas, identify opportunities, and contribute to positive outcomes.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
  • Champion and active contributor of change.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $84,020.00 - $126,020.00
