Our Opportunity:

The Sr. Workday HRIS Analyst plays a vital role in enabling its customers to optimize the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM)/HRIS system and create business value. Production Support, reporting/data analysis, and configuring new functionality in Workday are primary responsibilities.

Project management experience with both technical and functional expertise is key. Full life cycle implementation is required for assigned projects; including scoping, building project plans, adherence to schedule, testing, communications, and supporting change management. Supporting acquisition and divestiture, and audits is also a critical aspect of this role.

This individual will function as a production support contact to the practices helping them manage the system and assisting customers on a day-to-day basis by answering questions and resolving issues within Workday. Works closely with the team members and business partners to interpret the data and develop solutions that provide value for our customers.

This position will require collaboration across the business to develop and implement data-driven solutions to ensure adherence to company compliance standards/practices and maintaining internal audit processes to ensure data integrity. Key relationships include Vice President HR, Directors, Network HR, Regional HR Directors, Learning and Development, USON Leaders RSVPs and Practice HR, EDs and Controllers.

What you'll do:

  • Identify and prioritize key Workday optimization opportunities
  • Configuration of new Workday functionality including research, testing, and validation
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application system upgrades or fixes
  • Maintains awareness on applicable Workday updates and trends, including evaluation and system testing for Workday releases, and focus on product and service development of key technologies.
  • Develop & delivers communications and change management on Workday features and functionality enhancements
  • Gain key stakeholder alignment on the business value, scope of work, and project prioritization
  • Work independently with clients to review, clarify, and document complex business requirements.
  • Maintains up to date documentation for Job Aids and business requirements in adherence with SOX process controls
  • Manage and maintain configuration of the core Workday system including organizations, security, job architecture and business processes relating to the core system.
  • Maintain up to date documentation on all system configurations
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving Workday problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Support Shared Service and technical teams to research and create data integrations with external systems, including applicant tracking, background checks, benefits administration, and other external vendors. Will also troubleshoot and correct issues with existing integrations as required.
  • Execute mass data changes in core system (i.e., EIBs), ensuring highest level of data integrity and customer service orientation
  • Provides Workday Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to practices managing the system and assist them on a day-to-day basis by answering questions and resolving issues within Workday
  • Workday Inbox Case Management
  • Ensure internal customer issues and requests are addressed within defined SLA's.
  • Strong customer service with both email and phone calls. Able to manage a high volume of customer requests and overlapping projects.
  • Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
  • Project management experience with both technical and functional expertise involving cross-functional teams and new system or vendor implementations.
  • Full life cycle implementation for assigned projects including scoping, building project plans, adherence to schedule, testing, communications, and supporting change management.
  • Support acquisition and divestiture activities in managing worker data records, organizations, security, and related business processes.
  • Project Manage required SOX audit

What you'll need:

  • 4+ years relevant and professional work experience
  • 4+ years of advanced experience with HR systems/technologies, preferably in a large corporation within a matrixed environment
  • 4+ years proficiency using Workday HCM/HRIS and prior configuration experience with HCM, Benefits, Talent, Integrations, Reporting, Organization Hierarchy, Job Architecture, Security
  • Creating dashboards, metrics, and advanced analytical reports in Workday
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and Proficient in other MS Office Suite products
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS and database systems management; Systems thinking orientation, with demonstrated ability to identify and address root causes.
  • Ability to identify and translate business issues into questions that can be answered through improved configuration set-up.
  • Strong technical implementation skills. Able to research new functionality using Workday Community and build out configuration in test environment. Coordinate test case documentation and required testing / validation across multiple functional teams.
  • Strong analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Innovative and a self-starter that takes initiative and meets critical deadlines.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
  • Demonstrated experience in bridging business requirements and technical development.
  • Experience in working with large complex data systems to aggregate, organize, and preparing data for use in business analysis.
  • Support and develop audit processes for data integrity.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; including oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills; with ability to adjust style, content and deliver effective presentations to the target audience.
  • Team-oriented with ability to build relationships and foster trust at all levels of the organization

Nice to Have:

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources, business analysis, information systems or related field
  • Workday certification in HCM (preferred)
  • Human Resources data management (preferred)
  • System configuration of state/federal labor legislation requirements (preferred)
  • System Merger & Acquisitions (preferred)
  • Project management expertise including templates and tools (preferred)
