Job Summary
This position is responsible for contributing to the design of and administering complex configuration, deployment, support, administration, monitoring and analysis of technology infrastructure (with a focus on Windows, Citrix, or Unix operating systems) supporting the enterprise. This position is responsible for governance, oversight and orchestration of the scoping and delivery of high performing enterprise technology solutions (virtual machines, operating systems, physical hardware, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with more experienced technology specialists to understand system/product requirements and implements the agreed upon solutions as well as adequately documenting the procedures.
  • Contribute to the design, build of highly scalable Enterprise Content Management systems using emerging technologies. Advise project teams and development teams of standard requirements, methodologies, and processes.
  • Support non-production and production systems, including analysis and resolution of infrastructure and system problems in order to minimize business impact.
  • Manage systems configurations and ensure compliance; implement and enforce security / standards, regulations and best practices governing company policies.
  • Regularly monitors systems to ensure application is meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics. Update/modify monitoring thresholds as necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Job Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or 2 years in computer science related degree program, plus 6 years of related work experience OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related work experience in computer science related field OR 8 years of relevant work experience working in technology required.
  • Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+), Microsoft Certified Professional(MCP), IBM Certified in one or more FileNet products (FileNet Content Manager, Case Manager), Certified in Kofax Product Suite or other Document Capture technology preferred.
  • Scripting in various languages (UNIX/PowerShell/other), Release Management/Automation, ITIL Foundation or other IT service management methodologies preferred.
  • 8 years in IT systems administration including experience in a mixed (Windows/UNIX) environment.
  • 5+ years of FileNet/P8/Kofax experience.
  • Strong working experience in the areas of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform - IBM FileNet P8, IBM Case Manager, Kofax Capture Suite, Paradatec, or other Business Process Management (BPM) platforms.
  • Experience in ECM industry with detailed understanding of FileNet/P8 Technology which includes Content Engine, Process Engine, Application Engine, Content Navigator, Case Manager and Content Search Services..
  • Establish and implemented comprehensive Security requirements for FileNet P8 platform by leveraging Marking Sets, Inheritance based security model, etc.
  • Experience in scripting with Windows PowerShell or other language.
  • Experience in working within a mixed O/S environment: Windows 2016 Server, Red Hat Linux, WebSphere, JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Extensive experience administering and troubleshooting complex enterprise applications.
  • Extensive experience performing installations and upgrades of complex layered applications - IBM, Kofax etc.
  • Collaborate with application development or other teams in the deployment, design, and implementation of ECM products, workflows, and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform on-call duties.
  • Prior experience in setting up High Availability, DR environments.
  • Experience implementing new solutions in the areas of automation and orchestration.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business partners to understand business goals and develop solutions to support changing needs.
  • Strong record of successfully completing projects across various computing platforms.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Comfort with documenting technical processes and systems in various formats: Visio, Knowledge Base (KB), Sharepoint, etc.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and proven ability to follow up and follow through.
  • Proven ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Proven ability to manage time and prioritize work based on risk and critical need.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well to others.
  • Must be available to be on call 24x7x365
