Saputo is a global manufacturer and distributor of branded and private label dairy, cheese and plant-based products. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Planning Process and Controls plays a critical role in ensuring that specific planning activities and processes integrate seamlessly within the planning group and cross-functionally with business partners on a daily basis.

Specific focus will be to provide a single point of initial contact for the Supply Chain Planning Group for key daily and routine processes such as publication of and coordinated use of key cross-functional business information (e.g., routine customer fulfillment action processes, product life cycle coordination, network change, inventory monitoring, supply chain capability monitoring and follow-up). Through continuous improvement of this daily processes, this role will help facilitate continuous improvement of cost to serve, service levels, product risk & disposals and cross-functional alignment and communication.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

  • Facilitate/chair routine cross functional meetings to drive and constantly improve timely decision making and actions (e.g., customer fulfilment, inventory management such as DOH, product risk & disposals, cost to serve).
  • Conduct supply chain analysis to support business decisions leveraging SAP, BI, Power BI & excel (other tools) as appropriate; be the subject matter expert for specific business analysis, and reporting/analysis in assigned areas.
  • Network Sourcing and Balancing
    • Review and analyze approved supply network processes, report on deviations and report on cost impacts to changes.
    • Develop and manage SOPs relevant to network process and changes (emergency, ad hoc, etc.).
    • Actively review and monitor inventory and days on hand metrics; target inventory variances and generate action to correct dead and slow turning inventory.
  • Product Life Cycle/Commercialization Management
    • Represent Supply Chain during SUSA cross functional business process reviews.
    • Inform and validate product and commercial requirements and supply chain constraints, such as shelf life, selling window, order lead times, batch sizes, etc.
    • Validate optimal supply network, listing and de-listing of products and associated obsolescence management (FG, WIP and Packaging/Ingredients).
  • Communication Lead
    • Proactively communicate service status (category and customer) to the broader organization using standardized and ad-hoc reporting.
    • Act as the liaison for Supply Chain Planning to sales, category management, customer service.
  • Production Capacity Review & Schedule Attainment Reporting/Review
    • Coordinate routine reporting and divisional Supply Chain Planning - Operations reviews.
    • Maintain Crisis Management/ Supply Interruption SOP, and checklists. Administer CM projects as required.
  • Directly support the day-to-day execution of strategic and tactical decisions made via IBP process.
  • Continuously improve the day-to-day center-led supply chain planning processes, including documentation (SOPs, job aids, training documents) and training.
  • Be proficient at or learn various systems SAP (APO, ECC, MII, EWM, GPLM, GPIM, etc.) function(s) to support process understanding or analysis.
  • Other planning & analysis duties as required.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have...
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, business analysis or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, other manufacturing or supply chain discipline or related field (CPG industry/perishables preferred).
  • Operational experience in any functional area (Sales, CS, Logistics, Operations, Warehousing) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze a situation, resolve if able, proactively communicate/escalate.
  • Demonstrated history of creating order out of disorder.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, collaboration and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet required timelines.
  • Previous SAP APO/IBP, ERP experience preferred.
  • Self-motivation, are action oriented and have experience in a fast-paced environment.
