Your role:

The Market Intelligence team provides proactive analysis, data and information to support state-of-the-art decision-making, and drives the development of the Semiconductor Materials Business Unit's (BU) positioning and narrative internally and externally.

We are looking for a (senior) analyst in our Market Intelligence Team, to contribute to these team tasks. The role comprises the analysis of the industry's wide range of market data and trends, newsflow, and customer and competitor interactions, regular tracking and analysis of customers, peers as well as of industry-relevant ad-hoc topics. Triangulating these external insights with internal information is the second key aspect of the team's responsibility, in order to eventually provide conclusions/recommendations/assessments and communicate these within the BU and outside of it. You will manage and enhance a pool of internal and external data and further expand it as well as the analysis around it, including maintaining and updating the BU's inhouse wafer starts data base (customer, node, device) and sharing it ahead of corporate planning cycles, twice per year. In your role, you will also lead content collection for the team's regular publications (e.g. monthly newsletter, presentations, special deep-dive reports). Finally, you will support and create regular and special-topic analysis to develop insights into our customer and competitive landscape, market trends, industry topics and socio-economic influence factors.

This role can be located in Carlsbad, CA, Tempe, AZ, Branchburg, NJ or Allentown, PA.

Who you are:

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering, technology or related field
• 5+ years of work experience, ideally in the Semiconductor industry (preferably in strategy, finance or technical roles)

Preferred Requirements

• MBA
• Commercial, equity market or financial acumen
• Strong communication (written and verbal) with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Out-of-box thinking capabilities and experience to communicate such outcomes inside and outside of the BU
• Capability to digest significant daily newsflow
• Flexibility to work in a highly dynamic and agile environment
• English language skills
• Korean/Chinese are a plus
