Job Description

A Spray Foam Applicator is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Prepare the surface for painting, which includes sanding with an air sander, sand poly and primer, and verifying removal of spatter and slag, knowledge of filler application
• Use measurement devices to measure &record pre and post sand dry mill thickness
• Perform daily maintenance routines on paint prep equipment
• Identify and mask areas that are not to be painted
• Clean paint booth and lights and change filters
• Coordinate flow of and complete necessary paperwork
• Organize and maintain paint prep area
• Keep prep area picked up and free of dust and tools, sweeping daily
• Operate tugger according to safe operating procedures
• Operate forklifts according to safe operating procedures
• Operate scissor-lifts according to safe operating procedures
• Wear proper safety equipment
• Other duties as assigned
