Educational and Experience Requirement:Associates Degree in related field. Three years related experience or experience in a related field. Certifications may be required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position:Performs advanced specialist duties for the Correctional Management Institute of Texas (CMIT).
Primary Responsibilities:Serves as a primary resource for the distribution of surveys for stakeholders regarding existing and needed training, technical assistant, and research resources. Distributes self-assessment tools for specialty courts. Serves as a primary point of contact for stakeholders who need support related to the distribution and completion of surveys/self-assessments and will be responsible for follow up with each group. Assists a supervisor in planning or personally plans various parts of a major project. Schedules meetings, trainings, and activities. Compiles, tracks, and reviews data and reports from meetings and various trainings. Prepares, reviews, revises and distributes documents and correspondence. May be responsible for planning and participating in special projects. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications:Responsible for maintenance, cleaning, verification, and quantitative analysis of results from surveys and self-assessment tools. Requires a general knowledge of standard office function. Requires good knowledge of procedures and practices. Must be able to use standard office software.
