RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Solution Architect V in Los Angeles, CA.Summary:The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for designing solutions incorporating Microsoft Tech stack as well as using Azure technologies. The candidate is expected to perform their duties under limited supervision and to be able to work across teams to implement complex functionalities across diverse applications and systems.Responsibilities:

• Design end to end solutions incorporating Cloud Native Technologies, preferably using Azure Cloud
• Middle tier development: API Design and development, RESTful services and applications
• Database development: Relational (SQL scripts, Stored procedures) as well as NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB)
• Framework development and mentoring

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
• 15+ years of development experience in senior role
• 10+ years of solution architecture experience
• Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns
• Experience with secure coding practices
• Test driven development and refactoring; must have good experience with Unit testing frameworks (xUnit etc.)
• Good understanding of web application architecture
• Skilled in writing clean, reusable, self-documenting and well-documented code
• Well-versed in debugging and troubleshooting
• Expert in the practice of SOLID principles
• Good communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate within and across teams
• Deep experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC
• Solid experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Deep experience with responsive frameworks like Bootstrap
• Excellent understanding of DevOps (CI/CD)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience with containers like Docker is a plus
• Azure Cloud experience is a must
• Dependency Injection
• T-SQL (5 years minimum)
• TDD/Unit testing/BDD/xUnit
• Deep Object oriented design experience
• Design patterns
• API development experience (5-7 years)
• API Security (OAuth, SAML and JWT)
• Entity Framework
• Solid understanding of Azure and experience designing solutions in the Azure Cloud using Cloud Native technologies: Azure App Services, Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus
• Well-versed in SCRUM and agile techniques
• JIRA/Confluence/Git
• SOLID principles
• AKS/Docker/Containers
• Azure DevOps
