What You Will Be Doing Qualifications

3+ years of cloud-native development experience
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a distributed environment
Strong personal commitment to quality, customer service, follow-through, and continual learning
Demonstrated, adept problem-solving with a systematic and methodical investigative approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to design and develop code to ingest customer and other 3rd party data, both static and operational in nature
Experienced in and energized by agile work environment - adaptive and flexible; highly transparent and collaborative
Experienced in multiple cloud and orchestration platforms
Self-managing - ability to turn independent and collaborative R&D into new product capabilities, proactively evaluate and select technologies, accurately estimate and predictability deliver
Quality and Delivery Ownership - adopt quality and security by design best practices; willingness to test their own software and review that of peers
What You Need for this Position Technical Skills & Experience Required

Strong database and SQL
Authoring performant queries
Database design
Strong Java
Distributed systems/micros-services

Technical Skills & Experience Preferred

AWS EMR/Hbase knowledge and experience
Cloud-native programming:
Containers and container orchestration (k8s, docker)
CSP management and use (AWS/EKS, Azure/AKS, GCP/GKE)
GRPC/Protobufs
Spring
Bazel
golang
Apache Drill
