Container Management Site Manager

The Container Management Site Manager is responsible for supervising and managing a crew of Container Management Drivers in the successful delivery, pick up, repair, and conditioning of residential recycling and trash containers. The Container Management Drivers travel around a residential collection service area each day to perform the tasks described at specific addresses. Managing the Container Management Drivers includes but is not limited to routing work orders for each Driver and ensuring that the electronic hand-held devices used by the drivers are both uploaded with the proper information before work is started and downloaded with completed work order information after work is finished. In addition to managing and supervising the crew, the Container Management Site Manager will also run a route of cart service tasks each day, but of less volume than the Drivers he manages. This position must communicate professionally with customers, Drivers, and other departments at all times. This Container Management Site Manager should have strong computer / Excel skills.

The position routinely requires physical exertions such as repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling carts that weigh from 25 to 50 pounds as part of their daily routine. This position also involves mounting and dismounting the truck. This position will require you to work in all weather extremes including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry conditions. This is a full time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Minimum qualifications of this position include:

• 3 years safe driving experience

• Experience supervising/managing others

• Legally eligible to work in the United States

• Valid Driver•s License (CDL NOT required)

• Must be able to meet D.O.T. requirements for a medical card

• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check

• Experience driving in all weather conditions extremely helpful.

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

• Good Computer skills including MS Excel extremely helpful.
