Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility:

We support sales by driving customer -internal and external experience in the office.

You should have hands-on experience interacting with customers via phone and email to determine their needs and connect them with the resources they need.

This role is ideal for someone who lives for continuous improvement and is comfortable interacting with anyone, from customers to executives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedules all lab activity and manages the schedule overview

Effectively communicates with the order management team to define priority work when scheduling orders

Contributes to projects dedicated to improving efficiency

Provides timely and professional responses to customer phone and e-mail inquiries regarding service or requests for quotes

Responsible for service order entry for all equipment received into the Service Department.

Assists in receiving and checking of new equipment as needed prior to entering / sending service quotes.

Contacts customers to confirm purchase orders and requests approval for service quotes

Review parts on service orders, track backorder dates and make requests for parts from Purchasing or other warehouses as needed

Frequently monitors open orders report and follows up with customers to obtain approvals

Maintains accurate order status codes, keeps notes and dates properly updated in open order report

Manages blanket orders and tracks/deducts amounts when new orders are entered against them and request new blankets as needed

Performs assigned responsibilities in conformance to ISO procedures and supports the department in meeting quality objectives

Supports and participates in the company's health and safety program

Qualifications

To Land This Opportunity:

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience:

-2+ years in an office, lab, sales, or customer service role required (retail experience considered).
