BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Senior Workplace Investigator for an opportunity in Boston, MA 02203

Job Title: Senior Workplace Investigator
Location: Boston, MA 02203
Expected Duration: 06 Months Contract


Description:
Investigates allegations of City of Boston policy violations including bias-based conduct sexual misconduct workplace violence and other unprofessional conduct non-compliance with collective bargaining agreements or violations of other workplace standards by interviewing the subjects reporters and any witnesses reviewing relevant documents or other evidence conducting background factual and/or legal research as necessary preparing reports that present findings of fact credibility determinations analysis of issues and evidence and recommendations for corrective action and training conducting briefings with relevant leadership and issuing and documenting determinations and final investigative reports.
Performs difficult and complex factual policy and legal analyses and research.
Works closely with the Training and Development team developing educational programs to proactively address workplace issues and increase compliance with City of Boston policies.
Develops trust rapport and strong working relationships with the Offices of Human Resources and Labor Relations and leads in other City departments.
Promotes and encourages a positive environment while working respectfully and effectively within and for highly diverse workers at all levels of the organization.
Prepares and maintains a weekly summary report of the status of all investigations.
Supports the Office of Human Resources in writing reports as needed.
Performs related work as required.

Three plus (5+) years of progressively responsible experience conducting impartial fact-finding investigations in the employment context, establishing,
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is preferred,
