• SUMMARY

• Working under general supervision, the Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for providing accurate, timely performance data and analysis. The principal business outcome of this position is to providing strategic performance-related insights and identifying opportunities to enhance Treasury department performance. In addition to technical and analytical expertise, this associate possesses strong communication and planning skills and will routinely communicate with and respond to all levels of management. An associate in this position may interact with his or her supervisor as needed by either but will often lead projects independently.

  ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  * Responsible for providing departmental and Senior management with reporting, analysis, and support to measure performance and identify opportunities.

  * Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate cash flow forecasting models and analysis

  * Routinely provide Debt, Investment and FX analysis to Senior management

  * Provide detailed analysis and identify outcomes by employing sound analytical and statistical concepts.

  * Collaborate with internal partners to improve and automate the reporting process.

  * Improve business awareness and reporting dexterity by automating and simplifying processes where possible.

  * Work closely across departments to maintain a thorough understanding of GameStop's current business and operations and identify relationships between metrics.

  * Adhere to all deadlines relative to group performance reporting.

  * Assist with other projects or duties as needed.

  * Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization; adhere consistently with all organizational policies related to our respectful workplace

  * Demonstrate a consistent commitment to field-focused service by prioritizing management requests, responding quickly and favorably to field-based feedback, by minimizing tasks, and proactively seeking ways to enhance productively as much as possible

  * Model the high level of customer service expected of all GameStop associates including, but not limited to, responding to voice mails and emails within organizationally defined timeframes, completing projects as committed, responding to others' feedback appropriately, and making optimal use of organizationally limited resources by offering assistance to other functional teams when appropriate

  * Model team commitment by adhering to the team's expectations and guidelines; fulfilling team responsibilities; and demonstrating personal commitment to the team by being cooperative, collaborative, and flexible

  BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting or Economics required, Master of Business Administration preferred

  * At least five (5) years of Treasury or Financial Planning and Analysis experience required with proven ability to dissect business issues, analyze root - causes and provide possible solutions in a simple yet compelling manner to internal customers and upper management

  * CTP certification a plus

  * Retail finance experience a plus

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  * Strong knowledge of business concepts and tools (financial statements, cash flow forecasting, sensitivity analysis, NPV, ROI, etc.).

  * Experienced in working with internal International Affiliates at all levels of management

  * Proficient knowledge of MS Office Programs: Expert Excel (pivot tables, VlookUp, etc), Access, PowerPoint, Word.

  * Proven expertise with data management tools - Hyperion EssBase, Visual Basic & fundamental SQL knowledge preferred.

  * Proficient knowledge of technical modeling skills. Statistical modeling skills a plus.

  * Expert level of skill researching issues and problems, detail-oriented

  * Proven ability to work collaboratively and professionally across departments and supervisory levels, both domestically and internationally

  * Demonstrated ability to effectively and accurately enter, retrieve, analyze, recognize discrepancies, organize, and report electronic financial data

  * Quick learner, self-starter, highly self-motivated and goal oriented.

  * Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities

  * Proficient ability to remain effective under stress, and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

  * Flexibility to work extended, non-traditional hours as needed during peak periods, such as month-end or year-end

  * Adherence to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
