Department Summary:

The primary purpose of the Integrated Student Service Center (ISSC) is to provide a progressive and simplified student experience across the areas of financial aid, student accounting, money management, registrar and admissions. Central to the ISSC model is to promote a culture that supports customer service, student satisfaction, retention, and student success.

Position Overview:

The UNT One Stop is part of the universities newly formed Division of Enrollment Integrated Student Services team. Committed to enhancing the overall student experience, this innovative team brings together diverse expertise and resources from across the Division of Enrollment to seamlessly support a student's UNT journey. The One Stop's goal is to simplify students' interactions with the institution and create a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Sr. Student and Program Coordinator in the ISS, will play a vital role in ensuring that our teams deliver exceptional service to our students and families while adhering to quality standards. The position entails aiding in the creation and execution of thorough training programs to onboard new team members and enhance the skills of existing teams. Moreover, this role will contribute to crafting and instituting QA procedures to assess and enhance team performance, pinpointing opportunities for excellence.



Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related field and two years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Strong organizational skills and ability to execute multiple projects.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working at UNT or a similar style institution.Working knowledge of student information systems (including but not limited to PeopleSoft and SalesForce).Experience in higher education, preferably a one-stop service model, financial aid, registrar, and/or student accounting.Experience working with diverse populations of students, staff and faculty desired.

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.

Develop comprehensive training programs:
* Collaborate with Directors and subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives.
* Design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions for new hires and ongoing professional development for existing staff.
* Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to support learning objectives.

o:

Implement training initiatives:
*Coordinate training schedules and logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of training programs.*Assist with facilitating training sessions, workshops, and seminars, utilizing various instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles.

o:

Provide feedback and coaching:

* Offer constructive feedback and coaching to ISS staff based on quality assessment findings.* Work closely with supervisors and Directors to provide additional training or support as necessary.

o:

Collaborate with stakeholders:

* Liaise with home offices in the division and division staff to ensure alignment of training initiatives with changes, business processes and priorities.* Communicate regularly with department heads and university leadership to provide updates on training and quality assurance activities and outcomes.

o:

Assist in day-to-day ISSC operations during peak periods to ensure that the high volume of enrollment-related student service, inquiries and requests are addressed in a timely, accurate, courteous and helpful manner.

* Act as a facilitator to resolve student service issues; be knowledgeable about all student benefits and functions across the Offices of Financial Aid & Scholarships, Student Accounting, Registrar and Undergraduate Admissions.

Foster a student-service-oriented culture by promoting a strong commitment to meeting student needs, ensuring their success, and continuously improving their experience throughout their journey.

o:

Lead by example and encourage others to provide outstanding assistance to students. Offer guidance and resources and foster an empathetic and respectful environment that values each student's unique perspective.

o:

Carefully adhere to all institutional, state and federal guideline and regulations, including FERPA and participate in professional development on a continual basis to stay compliant.
